Biography

Wang Xiaoyan, born in February 1974, obtained a bachelor's degree in Physics from Beijing Normal University in 1994, and received an MBA degree from Renmin University of China in 1999. He is Xiaomi's senior vice president and president of the China Region.

Wang Xiaoyan joined Xiaomi in 2019 and was in charge of the E-Commerce Department, Sales Operations Department, New Retail Department and Carrier Department of the China Region. He has served as president of the China Region since 2022.

Before joining Xiaomi, he created and managed the Xiaolajiao smartphone brand from 2010 to 2019, served as a senior sales manager at Beijing Tianyu Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. from 2006 to 2010, and worked at ZTE from 1999 to 2005.
